A new Employer Support Programme has been launched by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority to help businesses create more inclusive, supportive and productive workplaces.
Employers can access free specialist support, including advice on workplace wellbeing, HR, leadership, neurodiversity and inclusive recruitment. Support is tailored to individual business needs and delivered through workshops, assessments and one-to-one guidance.
The programme builds on the success of its first year, which supported more than 200 businesses across the region, helping employers remove barriers to employment and create opportunities for more people to thrive in work.
The programme is part of the Get Britain Working Economic Inactivity Trailblazer and is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions.
