North Yorkshire Council's procurement team will host a Business Engagement Event at County Hall, Northallerton, on 13 November 2026, 9am to 1:30pm, giving businesses the opportunity to learn more about working with the council and accessing future contract opportunities.
The event will provide practical guidance on public sector procurement, explain where to find upcoming contracts and offer advice on developing successful bids. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak directly with procurement professionals and gain a better understanding of the council's purchasing requirements.
A programme of breakout sessions will explore key areas of council spending and future opportunities across a range of sectors. The event is aimed at businesses of all sizes, particularly SMEs, VCSE organisations and suppliers looking to grow their presence in North Yorkshire.
Businesses operating in construction, property, infrastructure, care, technology and digital services, as well as bid writing and tender support professionals, are encouraged to attend.
